FabSLABS are 3D welding tables and fixturing systems engineered for American fabrication environments, delivering the accuracy, durability, and consistency required on modern shop floors.
Every FabSLAB is manufactured from ASTM A514 Grade Q structural steel utilizing a fully welded fabrication (not cast iron), followed by thermal stress relief and heat treatment at 620–650°C. All working surfaces are CNC precision machined to maintain positional accuracy and flatness, then processed through deep nitriding to achieve a hardened, wear-resistant surface. The result is a table where accuracy and finish are consistent across every bore, edge, and mating interface.
Built for Structural & Misc. Metals Fabrication
For misc. iron applications – rails, stairs, frames, and assemblies—the FabSLAB provides a flat, indexed, and repeatable reference surface that eliminates time spent shimming, squaring, and rechecking layouts.
Components can be located, clamped, and held in position quickly, allowing fabricators to move from layout to tack-up with confidence and consistency.
Beyond standalone fabrication, FabSLABS function as dedicated fit-up and staging stations that integrate seamlessly into downstream processes:
• Pre-fit and square up assemblies prior to welding
• Stage and fixture parts for robotic welding systems
• Maintain repeatable datum references between manual and automated operations

QUALITY, FIT & FINISH
FabSLABS utilize the Deep Nitriding process – a controlled thermochemical treatment achieving 480–580 HV base hardness with a surface engineered to resist weld spatter, scale, and abrasion.
• Nitriding depth: 0.7–1.0 mm for true working-layer hardness
• Grid pattern: 4" × 4" diagonal dual grid, precision-machined across the full surface
• Boreholes: Ø28 mm, optimized for K28 fixturing with repeatable, zero-play engagement
The internal rib structure is designed for rigidity under load, and the adjustable, caster-ready (optional) legs provide stable support without deflection in real-world applications.
K28 FIXTURING ACCESSORY ECOSYSTEM
The FabSLAB accessory line is purpose-built around the Ø28 mm K28 standard, ensuring consistent and repeatable fixturing across a wide range of setups.
Each component is designed to locate, clamp, reference, and hold with the same dimensional discipline as the table surface – eliminating the need for adapters, shims, or workarounds.
From simple tack setups to complex multi-plane weldments, the system is built to scale with production requirements.
